CHRISTMAS PARTY 2007

The annual Griffith Fire Department Christmas Party was held Saturday December 8, 2007. Invitations were sent to all firefighters, board members, retirerees and their families. There was a very large turn-out for the event. Attendees were asked to bring a dish for the dinner and there were lots of great dishes to choose from.

Annual awards were also handed out at the party. Awards were given to the members that were voted as Firefighter of the Year and Rookie of the Year. Years of Service awards were also given to those members that have been in the department for 5, 10 or 15 years.

To close the event we received a visit from Santa Claus. Santa came by to visit the members and take special gift orders from the children.

The annual Christmas Party for 2007 turned out very well this year. A special thanks goes to the firefighters and ladies auxiliary members that helped make the event succesful.
